Passports

We provide passport services to Australian citizens in the United States.
Passport Interview hours: Monday to Friday: 9.00am - 1.00pm.
No appointments, walk-in service only; except from 16 December to 3 January*
Average wait time: 0–30 minutes.

*Please note, appointments will be required from Monday, 16 December 2019 to Friday, 3 January 2020 and walk-in applications will not be accepted at any time during these dates. To schedule an appointment, please call +1 (415) 644 3620.

During business hours, Australians in the United States requiring consular assistance should contact your nearest Australian mission.
