HAWAII ANZAC DAY CEREMONY

Honolulu ANZAC Day Ceremony

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the Anzac Day being observed in Hawaii. Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the major military action fought by Australian & New Zealand forces during the First World

War.

The Australian Consulate-General along with the New Zealand Consulate-General will host the annual Anzac Day Memorial Service at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) on Monday 25 April, 2016 at 10:00am local time.

Members of the general public are welcome to attend the service as we honour our past and present members of the Australian & New Zealand Armed Forces.

Expected attendees include senior U.S. military officials, government officials from Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand, members and families of the Australian Defence Force stationed in Hawaii, members of New Zealand Defence Force, as well as representatives from the U.K. and Canadian Armed Forces.
