Anzac Day Service Houston

ANZAC Houston Parade

The Australian Consulate-General in Houston welcomes all members of the community to a special ANZAC Day commemorative church service at Christ Church Cathedral.

ANZAC Day is one of Australia’s most important national occasions, making the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.  Each year on April 25, Australians and New Zealanders commemorate ANZAC Day to recognize the sacrifices that Australian and New Zealand servicemen and servicewomen have made not only in defending their country, but in upholding their nations’ longstanding commitment to peace and security.

The commemorative church service will be followed by a lunch hosted by the Australian Consulate-General and the Australian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC).

We kindly ask that you RSVP for the lunch for catering purposes. RSVP here: http://aacc-houston.org/news-events/buy-event-tickets/#!event/2018/4/25/anzac-day

Houston’s ANZAC Day activities are made possible through the support of our partners.
