ANZAC Day BBQ Denver

ANZAC Day in Denver, Colorado

Each year on the 25th April, Australians and New Zealanders commemorate ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) Day to recognise the sacrifices that Australian and New Zealand servicemen and servicewomen have made not only in defending their country, but in upholding their nations’ longstanding commitment to peace and security.

To mark this special occasion in 2019, OzDenver, along with host, fellow Australian Rod Dupen in his leafy Waffle Brothers beer garden, invite all Australian and New Zealanders to their annual Beer Garden Barbie. It's free entry, kid friendly and open to the public. We conduct a short ANZAC Day Ceremony acknowledging the sacrifices made by the service men and service women of the Australian and New Zealand armed forces since that day in Gallipoli on April 25, 1915. We'll also have some live acoustic music from the talented Mark Noller and it all culminates in a good old fashioned game of two-up!

Featuring Australian & NZ beer & wine, there'll be a limited Waffle Bros menu and sausage sizzle for the day, along with driveway cricket and a find-the-mini-aussie-kiwi-fauna in the garden adventure for kids.
