Panel Doctors in the United States of America
All applicants for permanent residence in Australia are required to undergo medical examinations and must attend one of the U.S. Panel doctors for their medical examination(s).
While applicants for temporary entry (tourist, business, students and other temporary residence visas) may attend their doctor of choice*, they are also encouraged to attend one of the Panel doctors above as these doctors are well acquainted with immigration health forms and associated procedures.
While Panel doctors should have a supply of medical forms, we encourage you to print the medical forms and bring them to your medical appointment(s).
Please refer to our health requirements for further details.
* The person conducting and completing the medical and/or radiological examinations MUST be a Medical Doctor (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
The following personnel are not authorised to conduct the medical or radiological examination and complete forms 26 and 160:
• licensed practical nurse (LPN)
• certified nurse practitioner (CNP or NP)
• physician's assistant (PA).
