US Government Procurement and the Australia United States Free Trade Agreement
The US government procurement market is open to Australian companies, under Chapter 15 (Government Procurement) of the Australia United States Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA). However, it should be noted that Chapter 15 of AUSFTA does not apply to all US government procurement. It is strongly advised that Australian companies seek independent legal advice on the application of provisions of AUSFTA to their own specific situation.
